Beyond Self-Doubt

You’re busy doubting yourself, while others are intimidated by your potential.

It's totally normal to have moments of self-doubt, but it's important to remember that you have the power to build yourself up and to recognize your worth. Here are some tips that might help:

Remind yourself of your successes and accomplishments. Write down your successes and read them back to yourself when you’re feeling down.

Practice self-compassion. Speak to and treat yourself as you would treat a close friend.

Take breaks from negative self-talk. When you catch yourself in a negative thought spiral, take a break and focus on something that brings you joy.

Challenge your inner critic. When you have a negative thought, ask yourself if it’s true and if it’s helpful. How would you respond to someone else who said the same thing?

Try positive affirmations. Create positive affirmations (e.g. I am strong and capable) and repeat them every day.
