Uncovering Limiting Beliefs

Uncovering limiting beliefs can be a difficult process, but it can also be a rewarding one.

I have done a lot of inner child and shadow work, but I recently uncovered a block I kept running into when it came to my dreams and manifestations. I had seen how this deep would and self identity had shown up in my religious trauma, but until recently - I didn't know just how much of my current life and mindset it was still affecting.

One way to start is to identify patterns in your thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back. Ask yourself questions like: What is my biggest fear? What am I avoiding? What do I believe is not possible for me?

Once you have identified the patterns, you can start to explore the beliefs behind them. A great way to do this is to talk to a trusted friend or mentor who can offer an objective perspective.

Additionally, journaling can be helpful in uncovering how you feel about certain situations and can help you to identify the core beliefs that are driving your behavior.

Finally, you can also explore different forms of therapy, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which can help you to challenge and reframe your limiting beliefs.

Lastly, ask yourself what would happen if your dream life DID come true? What is your immediate  response to that idea? Disbelief? Distrust? What negative self-identity speaks up?
